Décès récents: Michael "Bleu" Adjennian, Lewie Steinberg, Al Fletcher et Dominic Duval.

Michael "Bleu" Adjennian, chanteur des groupes  Miserable Failure ( grindcore)  et Blobfish Killer ( metal)  a perdu la vie dans des circonstances pénibles dans la nuit du 22 au 23 juillet, il s'est fait écrasé par un automobiliste probablement ivre.
Bleu avait 34 ans.


Lewie Steinberg était le premier bassiste de Booker T and the MG's , c'est sa basse qu'on peut entendre sur le classique 'Green Onions'.
En 1965 il est remplacé par Donald 'Duck' Dunn au sein des MG's, on n'entendra plus parler de Lewie qui est décédé le 21 juillet.


Le batteur Al Fletcher qui nous a quittés le 25 juillet faisait partie du rock band  londonien Die So Fluid qui a sorti 4 full albums et un EP.
Le groupe a annoncé la triste nouvelle sur sa page facebook:
"It is with deep sorrow we have to report the tragic news that our dear brother and band mate Al Fletcher passed away at 6pm BST yesterday, the 25th July. Al contracted double pneumonia followed by sepsis in a rare reaction to an infection. This caused his immune system to wage a war on his body that he was unable to survive, despite the fight he put up and the best efforts of the doctors and nursing staff at Ealing Hospital. Kept sedated throughout this sudden and vicious affliction, we can only be grateful that he suffered no pain and passed peacefully.
Al’s passing leaves a gaping hole in all our lives as we struggle to come to terms with the fact he has gone. No one plays the drums or can tell a joke quite like you Al, you will be missed so very much. You will live on in our hearts and in all the amazing music you made. We love you.

Le free jazz bassist Dominic Duval est décédé le 22 juillet.
All Music décrit son travail ainsi:  "absolute freedom of expression is paramount in Duval's art"!
Il nous laisse  plus ou moins  trente albums, il a également collaboré avec d'autres adeptes de l'improvisation tels que Cecil Taylor, Joe McPhee ou Nora McCarthy, la  poétesse et chanteuse de jazz!
